Gyroscope designed an interactive history exhibit for a community development and park space in Oakland's Brooklyn Basin waterfront. The interactive super-graphic timeline and video presentation engages visitors with the extraordinary story of the historic shipping terminal site and surrounding area. The exhibit celebrates Brooklyn Basin’s role in creating California as we know it, highlighting the many people who lived, worked, and depended on this special piece of land—from Ohlone fishermen to cargo ship sailors, from Mormon pioneers escaping persecution to gold rushers seeking their fortunes.
