Brie Burnham is a graphic designer, project assistant, and education coordinator at Gyroscope. She has provided graphic design services for several of Gyroscope’s previous projects, including her current graphic design work for The Thinkery (the new Austin Children’s Museum).
Brie has a background in education and working one-on-one with students from her years with Industrial Design Outreach (IDO), in San Francisco, as a curricula developer and mentor. IDO provides public high school students with on-campus product and graphic design classes that combine art with math, history, English, and science.
In 2013 Brie worked with Louise Mackie to create Gyroscope’s "Imagine Oakland" installation for the East Bay Mini Maker Faire. "Imagine Oakland" was a series of 8-foot-tall metal looms that invited visitors to weave in their own creations and ideas.
